From Sandra; I've known your mom since we were 12yrs old we met at Brandwood school. At break times I always knew were to find her in the Library which lead to me calling her a swot. Jackie never ever let me forget that she was in the A stream and I was in the B stream. All in good fun. At 16yrs old we started to go into Birmingham on a Thursday evening to see your Nan in Rackhams and have a bite to eat. Thursdays became our day through our whole friendship and no one ever came between us. You 3 boys along with Victoria & Ben would meet up every Thursday until one by one you all went to school. Then off to work we both went. Never breaking our bond of talking every week to make sure we were both ok and our family's. Jackie has been the kindest, loyal friend not only to me but to my family who all loved her. Her heart was so big. We called ourselves not only friends but sisters we were so close. Our meeting on Thursday when we both retired would start at 11am and finish at 5pm or 6pm never ever running out of things to talk about. In 57yrs we have never had a cross word between us nothing would break us apart. Ben and Victoria adored her loved and respected her. What a wonderful Godmother she has been to Victoria. I am proud to have called her MY BEST FRIEND. I went into hospital years ago and Jackie came to visit. For some reason she thought I was in the Orthopaedic Hospital on the Bristol Road. She drove from Worcester and insisted to the receptionist I was there. Only to be told I was at the Alex Hospital. Only just making visiting time. We have laughed so many times over that. We got shouted at when we were 16 having tea and apple pie and custard. The woman shouted down the cafe apple pie and custard NOT PAID FOR. Your mom was mortified as everyone was looking at us. We have laughed so many times over that. I was never know as Sandra Tromans to your mom but Sandra Mac your nan always said here she comes Sandra Mac & Ernie. So that's how it was sealed with fun and kindness. I have lost my best friend and sister but have so many many happy memories to hold onto. Her loyalty and friendship kindness and thoughtfulness will stay with us all for ever. My lovely forever best friend Jackie so proud and honoured to have know her all these years. Xx
